Espire Hospitality Group has announced the appointment of Akhil Arora as its new Chief Executive Officer. Akhil, who previously served as the company’s Chief Operating Officer, brings over 20 years of industry experience to his new role. He holds the prestigious designation of ‘Certified Hotel Administrator’ (CHA) from the American Hotel and Lodging Educational Institute.
In his new position, Akhil Arora will lead the overall business operations of Espire Hospitality Group, with a continued focus on the company’s expansion plans. He joined the organization in May 2021, following an impressive career working with renowned hospitality brands in India, including Oberoi, Leela, Hyatt, Renaissance, and The Imperial. Prior to joining Espire Hospitality Group, he also played a key role in setting up and successfully running the Asset Management division at Hotelivate.
Akhil’s extensive knowledge in various facets of hotel operations and business strategy, including Rooms Division, Food & Beverage service, Sales & Marketing, and Revenue Management, adds significant value to the growth objectives of the company.
Under Akhil’s leadership, Espire Hospitality Group has achieved remarkable growth, expanding its portfolio from two to currently 10 operating hotels. The company has ambitious plans for further expansion, with six more hotels scheduled to open in 2023. By the end of this year, Espire Hospitality Group aims to have a total of 16 hotels in its portfolio.
Furthermore, Akhil spearheaded the launch of the Luxury Boutique resort brand ‘ZANA – Luxury Escapes’ under Espire Hospitality Group. The brand made its debut with the opening of its first hotel in Udaipur in September 2022. Since its inception, ZANA has experienced rapid growth and is projected to have a portfolio of five hotels by the end of 2023.
With Akhil Arora at the helm, Espire Hospitality Group is poised for continued success, further expanding its presence in the hospitality industry and delivering exceptional experiences to its guests.
