Ahmedabad: Chef Akshay Katti has joined Courtyard by Marriott Ahmedabad as the new Executive Chef.
Chef Akshay has been associated with multiple leading hotels in India and overseas through his career in various roles including that of an Executive Chef. Chef Akshay says that he is looking forward to introducing some innovative flavors and new dishes for the food aficionados in the city. He describes himself as a creative foody who will work towards introducing something new regularly at various outlets at the hotel like Java+, MoMo, and Bayleaf for all to experience and enjoy.
“I look forward to coming up with an amalgamation of new flavors and ingredients for food lovers of Ahmedabad,” says Chef Akshay, who specializes in Italian cuisine, and especially loves to cook Ravioli.
Some of his specialties also include R&D, New Product Development, Vendor Management, Consumer Tastings, Commercialization, Italian Fine Dining, Modern European, All Day Dining, Garde manger, Butchery, TDH, Staff Cafeteria, Packed Lunches for Corporate clientele, Commercial Production of Jams, jellies, and sauces, Formal Sit Down Dinners and Multi-Ethnic Buffets.
