Asur Microbrewery Bar & Kitchen has introduced India’s first Kiwi Beer, a new addition to the Indian craft beer market. Crafted over several months of experimentation, the brew blends the sweetness of kiwi with citrus and passionfruit notes, delivering a unique and flavorful beer experience.
The Kiwi Beer joins Asur’s impressive lineup of craft beers, reflecting the brand’s commitment to flavor experimentation and pushing the boundaries of traditional brewing. With an alcohol content of 4%-5% and a gentle bitterness of 10-12 IBU, it’s light, drinkable, and perfect for any occasion. The Kiwi Beer adds to Asur’s range of seasonal favorites, including Mango Ale, Pineapple Ale, and Scotch Ale, which have already captured the hearts of beer lovers.
“At Asur, our goal goes beyond just brewing beer; we strive to create experiences that resonate with our customers,” said Rohan Khare, Co-Founder of Asur Microbrewery Bar & Kitchen. “With Kiwi Beer, we’ve blended creativity and innovation to deliver a product that’s not only about the fruit but about the meticulous brewing techniques that make it unique. We wanted to craft something that stands out in the world of craft beers, offering not just a flavor, but a memorable experience for those who try it.”
To preserve the kiwi’s natural freshness, the Kiwi Beer is infused with fresh kiwi at the end of fermentation. This unique method ensures that the fruit’s vibrant flavors are preserved, enhancing the beer’s complexity. The resulting brew balances fruity notes with the art of brewing, offering a smooth yet dynamic flavor profile. In addition to the Kiwi Beer, Asur Microbrewery offers a variety of other craft beer options, including Lager, Wheat, IPA, Stout, and seasonal brews like Mango Ale, Pineapple Ale, and Scotch Ale, catering to a wide range of preferences and taste profiles.
Asur Microbrewery was founded by a team with six years of experience in brewing commercial beers under the Bad Monkey brand. Based in Delhi, the microbrewery has rapidly gained recognition among craft beer enthusiasts in the city and NCR. Asur offers a community-centered space where guests can enjoy live music, brewery tours, and a welcoming atmosphere while sampling a variety of craft beers.
Looking ahead, Asur plans to expand its presence to 8-10 locations in key cities across India over the next 5-10 years. The launch of Kiwi Beer is part of the brewery’s continuous pursuit of new flavors and innovative brewing techniques, keeping pace with the evolving craft beer scene.
In compliance with Delhi’s regulatory framework, Asur serves its beers exclusively on-site, offering customers a unique and immersive experience. The brewery fosters a connection with its patrons by creating an environment where craft beer can be enjoyed alongside other experiences, all while maintaining a focus on quality and creativity in every brew.
