CESSA University and Sommet Education have signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) to enhance hospitality-related training opportunities. CESSA students can participate in an academic exchange program with the Glion Institute of Higher Education, which has campuses in Switzerland and Spain and the Les Roches Institute in France.
“We are delighted to partner with CESSA, sharing our commitment to educational excellence,” said Dr Pierre Ihmle, Academic Director of Sommet Education.
Under the deal, students of CESSA can attend one or more semesters (or years) abroad and study while soaking up international standards in hospitality and cultural diversity. Furthermore, CESSA graduates are eligible to pursue degree programs at Les Roches and Glion, which support the development of managers in the hospitality and food industry.
“This collaboration with Sommet Education reinforces our commitment to prepare competent professionals globally,” concluded Alonso Guerrero, Director and CEO of CESSA.
The academic and professional development of students is fostered by this strategic partnership, which also provides new opportunities in tourism, hospitality, gastronomy, food science, culinary management, and events.
