Coffee Island, in collaboration with its India partner Vita Nova, has unveiled its latest café at AIPL Joy Central, Sector 65, Gurugram—marking its second outlet in the city and fourth in India. This launch follows successful openings in Gurugram, Hyderabad, and Delhi. Strategically located on Golf Course Extension Road, a thriving hub of upscale residences, tech parks, and commercial developments, the new café is designed to cater to a growing demand for premium, experience-driven coffee spaces in the region.
The café’s offerings include a curated coffee menu featuring Global Single Estate Beans, signature in-house blends, and innovative beverages like Prebiotic Overnight Brew, Islander Cold Coffee, The Long Pour, and Java Chip Killer. The food menu, created by Chef Arjyo Banerjee, showcases modern global flavors with items like the Mediterranean Quinoa Bliss Bowl, Roasted Tomato Basil Bocconcini Pide, and Banoffee with Nolen Gur, complemented by a selection of artisanal pastries including custard-filled croissants. Konstantinos Konstantinopoulos, CEO of Coffee Island, remarked, “Gurugram continues to be central to our India journey. Opening our second café on Golf Course Extension Road aligns with our brand’s identity—modern, inclusive, and rooted in community.”
Pratyush Sureka, Founder of Vita Nova, added, “Coffee Island offers more than just coffee—it curates lifestyle experiences. The vibrant environment of AIPL Joy Central and the evolving high-street culture of Golf Course Extension Road make this a perfect setting for our vision.”
The café also includes a retail section offering Cold Brews, Proffees (Protein Coffees), Pour Overs, Iced Teas, Craft Chocolates, and Ready-to-Eat gourmet items. Sustainability remains a core focus, with the café incorporating eco-friendly practices such as the use of biodegradable cups, upcycled coffee waste, and ethically sourced ingredients from small-scale farmers.
With this latest addition, Coffee Island now operates four cafés across India and plans to scale up to 250 outlets by 2029. Expansion is already in the pipeline for key Indian cities including Mumbai, Thane, Bangalore, Hyderabad, Pune, and the NCR. The brand also has its sights set on entering neighboring South Asian markets such as Nepal, Bhutan, Bangladesh, Sri Lanka, Mauritius, and the Maldives through its partnership with Vita Nova.
Coffee Island’s growth reflects a clear commitment to redefining the café culture in India through a blend of ethical sourcing, sustainability, and elevated customer experience—bringing a global café ethos with a local soul.
