FHRAI and HRANI to Host “Viksit Delhi – Viksit Tourism & Hospitality” Summit on December 10

The Federation of Hotel and Restaurant Associations of India (FHRAI) and the Hotel and Restaurant Association of Northern India (HRANI) are jointly hosting the “Viksit Delhi – Viksit Tourism & Hospitality” Summit.

Event Details and Objectives

This high-profile event is designed to align industry and policy efforts toward strengthening the capital’s role as a major global destination.

  • Event Name: Viksit Delhi – Viksit Tourism & Hospitality Summit

  • Organizing Bodies: FHRAI and HRANI

  • Date and Location: December 10, 2025, at Le Meridien, New Delhi.

  • Chief Guest: The Hon’ble Chief Minister of Delhi, Mrs. Rekha Gupta, is scheduled to grace the event as the Chief Guest.

  • Objective: The summit’s primary goal is to support the vision of a Viksit Delhi by strategically positioning tourism and hospitality as key drivers of growth. It will also acknowledge the Delhi Government’s progressive initiatives that have improved the ease of doing business and encouraged investment in the capital.

  • Key Focus: Sessions will concentrate on destination development, branding, investment opportunities, and necessary policy reforms to further strengthen the sector’s business environment. The program will include a panel discussion titled “Branding Delhi for Growth Opportunities” and the presentation of the Delhi Edition of the Awards of Excellence.

Surendra Jaiswal, President of FHRAI, emphasized Delhi’s potential and the summit’s strategic importance: “Delhi has all the ingredients to emerge as one of the world’s leading tourism and hospitality destinations. The government’s focus on ease of doing business has created strong momentum. This summit will help align priorities and accelerate Delhi’s growth story. Delhi is often called the heart of the nation. It carries a rich and diverse heritage shaped over centuries while embracing the energy of a modern metropolis. The summit will explore ways to strengthen tourism and highlight hospitality’s role in sustaining long-term growth in the National Capital.
