He started his career in 2008 in the busy food and beverage industry, moving up through important positions that helped him become an expert in all facets of hospitality administration. Debabrata combines cultural sensitivity and attention to detail in everything from successfully leading restaurant operations and developing vibrant teams to overseeing vendor relations and planning major events. He has a wide range of expertise in the Caribbean, Africa, and India, where he has skillfully adjusted to each region’s particular guest expectations.
The opening of the Park Hyatt Zanzibar’s extensive in-flight catering business represents a noteworthy turning point in his career. Over 500 airline-standard meals are delivered every day by this ambitious project, which was created from the ground up and reflects Debabrata’s inventiveness and capacity to raise the bar far above that of conventional hotel services.
