BEST WISHES
Following the success of its site on Brigade Road, the highly regarded Japanese izakaya restaurant Kuuraku has expanded its reach by opening a second location in Whitefield, Bengaluru.
Japanese food has gained popularity more than any other as Indian tastes grow more daring and inspired by other cultures. The artistry, history, and soul-soothing qualities of Japanese food are being increasingly appreciated, from the rich umami of ramen to the elegant sophistication of sushi. However, Kuuraku provides more than simply food; it’s an entire experience. From the first “Irasshaimase” you get, you are ushered into an area that resembles a quaint neighborhood restaurant hidden away in Japan.
“Authenticity is everything at Kuuraku—from our flavors to our service, our goal is to make our customers happy,” stated Seijiro Hirohama, Kuuraku’s managing director.
“We’d love to introduce our cuisine and culture to more people here,” he continued, “as Japanese cuisine has grown in popularity in India. We are thrilled to introduce a little bit of Japan to Whitefield and strengthen our ties to one another via cuisine. Real Japanese dining in India is becoming more memorable, accessible, and significant with each new location.
The team at the Whitefield location, led by talented Japanese chefs, upholds the brand’s dedication to using genuine methods. The menu’s highlights include freshly created sushi rolls, teppan gyoza, charcoal-grilled yakitori, homemade ramen in slow-cooked broths, and hearty donburi bowls. Each dish is expertly prepared to capture the accuracy and complexity of flavor found in a traditional Japanese kitchen.
Kuuraku is genuinely unique because it embraces Omotenashi, the Japanese value of genuine hospitality. More than just a meal, visitors are ushered into moments of cultural exchange, from learning a few Japanese words to playing a friendly game of Jankenpon (rock, paper, scissors) for a fun surprise.
