Asembli, a massive new restaurant spanning 40,000 square feet in Hyderabad’s Financial District, is set to make a significant mark on the city’s booming Food and Beverage (F&B) scene. Scheduled to open its doors on October 31, the venue promises a multi-sensory experience that merges architecture, gastronomy, music, and design.
The launch of Asembli underscores a recent trend in Hyderabad toward large-scale, sophisticated dining spaces. The restaurant joins other ambitious ventures in the city’s F&B landscape, such as the 40,000 sq. ft. Niloufer Café in Hitech City (India’s largest chai café), the 24,000 sq. ft. MOAI restobar, and the 12,000 sq. ft. Akina, all of which are located in the same neighborhood.
Culinary and Design Vision
- Design: Asembli was designed by Anirudh Osuri of Design Epicenter.
- Culinary Vision: The menu is the creation of Chef Varun Inamdar. The concept revolves around shared experiences, blending regional Indian flavors with contemporary techniques and international flair.
- Beverage Program: The food is complemented by a beverage program curated by an international mixologist, with the aim of redefining Hyderabad’s cocktail culture.
Nagineni Srikanth Rao, founder of Asembli, emphasized the venue’s purpose: “We did not just build a venue, we assembled a feeling. Asembli is a stage for life’s most vibrant moments, a place where Hyderabadis from all walks of life can come together, celebrate boldly, and create memories for a lifetime.” The new space is expected to raise the bar for hospitality and dining experiences in Hyderabad.
