Lemon Tree Hotels Limited has fortified its presence in Eastern India, specifically in Bihar, with the launch of its latest managed property, Lemon Tree Hotel, Motihari. This new opening, announced on October 31, 2025, marks another milestone in the brand’s strategy to extend its signature hospitality to culturally and historically significant cities. Motihari is noted for its deep historical relevance, particularly its connection to India’s independence movement. The hotel aims to blend modern comfort with the city’s timeless charm.
Property Details and Phased Rollout
The new Lemon Tree Hotel, Motihari, will feature a total of 50 well-appointed rooms and suites, all designed to prioritize both comfort and functionality for travelers. The property’s rollout is planned in two phases:
- Phase One (Operational): The initial phase includes the launch of 32 rooms, along with essential amenities such as Citrus Café (the multi-cuisine restaurant), and large banquet and meeting spaces, including Tangerine Grand 1, Tangerine Grand 2, and a Boardroom. Guests can also access recreational facilities like a spa, fitness center, and swimming pool.
- Phase Two (Future Launch): The remaining 18 rooms will be introduced in the second phase, accompanied by the opening of Kebab Theater, a modern Indian specialty restaurant focused on serving authentic kebabs, tikkas, and regional delicacies, as well as an additional banquet hall named Tangerine.
