Anurag Kumar: Director of Sales
Anurag Kumar joins the team as the new Director of Sales, bringing over a decade of extensive experience in hospitality sales, strategic business development, and revenue generation for leading hotel brands.
An accomplished sales professional, Kumar started his career internationally at The Balmoral, a Rocco Forte Hotel in Edinburgh, where he gained valuable exposure in Food & Beverage and Sales operations. Following his international stint, he held key positions in India with reputable groups including Jaypee Hotel Group, Royal Orchid Hotels, and Sarovar Hotels. Most recently, he served at ITC Hotels as National Sales and Unit Sales Head, where he was instrumental in driving sales strategy and partnerships.
Gautam Kunal: Food & Beverage Manager
Taking charge of the culinary and dining experiences is Gautam Kunal, appointed as the Food & Beverage Manager. Kunal brings a rich experience of over 14 years in the hospitality industry, gained across leading hotel brands both in India and abroad.
Kunal’s career includes multiple leadership roles within Hyatt Hotels. He is well-regarded for his strategic approach to operations, meticulous people management, and a signature blend of creativity and precision. His deep commitment to service excellence is considered a perfect fit for Mercure Lucknow’s vision for its F&B operations.
Subash Chandra Dhal: Security Manager
Ensuring the safety and security of guests and assets, Subash Chandra Dhal steps into the role of Security Manager. Dhal is a veteran in the field, contributing over 19 years of experience in safety, security, and crisis management gained across India’s top hotel brands.
Throughout his career, Dhal has led security operations for renowned chains, including Taj Hotels, The Leela, Hyatt, Novotel, Mercure, Grand Mercure, and ibis. His comprehensive expertise covers a broad spectrum of security management, including security systems, specialized event safety, VVIP movement planning, crisis management, and emergency response protocols, ensuring a secure and seamless experience for all hotel patrons.
