In a momentous announcement, the Hotel Polo Towers Group has joined forces with the Department of Tourism, Government of Nagaland, to unveil the state’s very first five-star establishments. This groundbreaking agreement encompasses the development of a luxurious five-star hotel paired with a shopping mall in Dimapur and another prestigious five-star destination in Kohima.
These ambitious projects will collectively offer over 200 opulent rooms, with an estimated investment of approximately 150 crore rupees, spanning both direct and indirect contributions. These initiatives will operate under a Public-Private Partnership (PPP) model and adhere to the Design, Build, Maintain, Operate, Manage, and Transfer (DBMOMT) framework.
The Dimapur facility is poised to redefine the concept of luxury living, featuring top-tier accommodations, an array of dining options, entertainment hubs, and an extensive selection of retail outlets. It aspires to establish itself as a comprehensive lifestyle destination. In contrast, the Kohima project is designed to deliver an unmatched “luxury hotel experience” catering to both business and leisure travelers. These projects have the potential to transform the tourism and economic landscape of Nagaland, marking a significant milestone in the region’s development.The anticipated timeline for the completion of these groundbreaking projects is estimated to be within three to four years.
