Leading the hotel’s culinary adventure with twenty years of culinary experience. The Taj Mahal in New Delhi has announced that Chef Kaushik Misra has been appointed as its new Executive Chef. Chef Kaushik brings to the Capital’s top location a wealth of international culinary influences and inventiveness from his more than 20 years of culinary experience working at famous establishments in India and the Middle East.

Chef Misra, who helped develop Loya and The Chambers at Taj Westend in Bengaluru, has joined Taj Mahal in New Delhi. At various esteemed facilities, such as Taj Exotica Resort & Spa, Andamans, Blue Diamond, Pune – IHCL SeleQtions, and hotels in Hyderabad and Dubai, he has occupied executive roles.
A graduate of IHM Mumbai, he began his career in cooking as a Taj Management Trainee. Chef Misra is renowned for his innovative combination of traditional methods and modern presentation, and he specializes in French, Italian, Indian, and Asian cuisines. Over the course of his remarkable career, he has had the honor of working with renowned master chefs such as
Alex Bignoti, Luca Voncini, Chef K. Natarajan, and Chef Chalapathi Raju. He has cultivated a profound appreciation for genuine flavors while contributing his own distinct vision to the table.
