India’s first airport microbrewery, Susegado has opened at International Airport. The place will offer a great taste of Goan flavour and elegant decor. It is named after the famous Goan term “Susegad,” which denotes ease or relaxation. Susegado is a one-of-a-kind microbrewery experience that is all about Goan cuisine, culture and beers. Being a one-of-a-kind in the middle of an Indian airport, it is a partnership of Rising Tide Beverages with Lane Nine Hospitality and Radiance, a fully owned subsidiary venture by IRHPL that reevaluate the airport dining space where people can experience the Goan culture the minute they arrive in the city.
On the grand launch of Susaegado, an IRHPL spokesperson said, “We are thrilled to introduce Susegado at the Manohar International Airport with a vision is create an airport experience that embodies the spirit of Goa, offering travellers a taste of Goan culture and flavours in an environment that combines the best of local brewing with an authentic Goan vibe that is truly unforgettable.
Coming back to Susegado, the microbrewery is spread across 5,000 square feet. The vintage Goan home inspires the decor with an infusion of jazz. This unlike design allowed guests and local people to feel real Goa while having a freshly brewed, authentic Goan beer. Susegado aims to create a relaxed ambience where guests can experience a real Goa’s rich heritage at ease while tasting innovative and traditional local cuisines.
The best part of Susegado’s offerings is the freshly brewed beers perfectly crafted to enjoy the unique flavours of the region. Some of their famous news are-
- Poder’s Pilsner, a crisp beer brewed along with upcycled Goan bread
- Kokum Gose, a tangy flavour featuring kokum extract in a German-style beer
- English Ale, is made for both newcomers and seasoned beer lovers.
