JW Marriott Kolkata appointed Zibraan Kazi as the new Director of Operations. With an illustrious career spanning over 15 years in the hospitality industry, Zibraan brings a wealth of experience and operational expertise to his new role.
Zibraan’s journey in hospitality has been marked by his relentless passion for excellence, operational finesse, and delivering memorable guest experiences. Prior to joining JW Marriott Kolkata, he held key leadership roles at some of the most prestigious luxury hotels, where he was instrumental in driving guest satisfaction, optimizing operations, and achieving business excellence.
Most recently, Zibraan was associated with the Renaissance Bengaluru Race Course Hotel. Zibraan has also worked with other prestigious brands like St. Regis Mumbai and Grand Mercure Bengaluru Gopalan Mall (Accor Group). He has been pivotal in driving guest satisfaction scores, managing large teams, and ensuring smooth hotel operations. His leadership in pre-opening roles, vendor management, and staff development has been highly regarded throughout his career.
In addition to his professional achievements, Zibraan holds a Bachelor’s degree in Hotel Management from the Dadar Institute of Hotel Management Mumbai (2007) and an MBA in Sales & Marketing from Sikkim Manipal University (2012).
In his new capacity, Zibraan will oversee the hotel’s day-to-day operations, ensuring the highest standards of service while elevating the guest experience. With his strategic vision and hands-on approach, he is poised to further solidify JW Marriott Kolkata’s position as a premier luxury destination.
