Hailing from Mumbai, Maharashtra, Flavius brings over 14 years of extensive experience in the hospitality industry, having served with some of India’s most prestigious luxury brands.
In his new role, Flavius Chettiar will lead the repositioning of the hotel’s food and beverage venues, with a primary focus on enhancing the overall dining experience for guests. His extensive expertise is set to play a crucial role in elevating culinary offerings and ensuring guest satisfaction.
Flavius embarked on his hospitality journey with Oberoi Hotels and Resorts in Mumbai, where his passion for food and beverage was kindled. Graduating from the esteemed Oberoi Centre of Learning and Development (OCLD) in 2011 further enriched his skills and knowledge in the field.
As the Director of Food and Beverage at The Westin Mumbai Garden City, Flavius will be responsible for overseeing various food and beverage outlets, including Seasonal Tastes, Prego & Pronto, Eighteen Lounge, Kangan, in-room dining, banquet, and meeting spaces. His role encompasses achieving annual budget goals, ensuring guest satisfaction, maintaining departmental profitability, introducing new F&B concepts, and nurturing the growth and development of the team.
