IHG Hotels & Resorts has recently finalized a management agreement with Abu Estate Private Limited for the development of Holiday Inn Chennai Egmore. Expected to open in the first quarter of 2025, this 92-key conversion hotel signifies IHG’s commitment to extending its reach in strategic locations across India.
Situated in Chennai’s industrial hub of Egmore, the upcoming Holiday Inn aims to serve both business and leisure travelers, taking advantage of its proximity to government offices, residential areas, the railway station, and prominent landmarks. The hotel will feature modern guest rooms, a fitness center, an all-day dining restaurant, a bar, and a lobby lounge. Additionally, it will provide versatile banqueting spaces, including a grand ballroom and breakout rooms for various events.
Sudeep Jain, Managing Director, South West Asia, IHG Hotels & Resorts, expressed enthusiasm about the expansion of the Holiday Inn brand in collaboration with Abu Estate Private Limited.
