Chai’s Thai restaurants, as well as classic dishes from other East Asian cultures, such as China, Singapore, and Malaysia. He reported that “Hopefully, I can make this place suit the community and bring the best food into this area.”
When Chai initially arrived in the United States in 1988 from Malaysia, he worked as a server. He was soon promoted to management because to his perseverance and hard work. He operated a Chinese restaurant in Tennessee for over a decade before co-founding his first restaurant in Hillsborough with his business partner in 2004. This restaurant was originally known as Thai Kitchen, but after Chai’s partner retired in 2014, he and his wife, Leng, took over and thought it needed a name change.
