Tarka Indian Kitchen opened at 9710 State Highway 151. It is the Austin-based chain’s second location in Alamo City.
Tarka Indian Kitchen CEO Tinku Saini reported that “We are beyond thrilled to bring fresh-to-order, customizable Indian food to this part of town where guests have been asking us to open for years .The location has received an amazing response from the community so far and we just love the diversity of this fast-growing area.”
It replaces the former Ding Tea & Crumbs restaurant. Tarka Indian Kitchen is available for takeout, takeout and delivery, offering fresh and delicious Indian food that’s also fast and affordable. It offers curries, kabobs, biryani and freshly baked bread, as well as a variety of drinks such as mango lemonade, fresh fruit glasses, wine and beer.
The restaurant originally opened in Austin in 2009 and expanded five years later to San Antonio at 427 N. Loop 1604 W. Today, there are 10 Tarka Indian Kitchens in Austin, San Antonio, Round Rock and Houston.
