Sayaji Hotels, a prominent name in Indian hospitality, has announced the signing of six new properties as part of a strategic expansion drive to strengthen its footprint and redefine the hospitality landscape across India.
Expansion Details and Strategic Rationale
The six new hotels are strategically located across high-growth destinations, tapping into cities that are experiencing a surge in domestic travel driven by leisure tourism, business mobility, and cultural exploration.
The new properties are located in the following cities and states:
-
Madhya Pradesh (MP): Mandav and Kanha
-
Maharashtra (MH): Baramati
-
Andhra Pradesh (AP): Tirupati
-
Gujarat (GJ): Bhavnagar and Junagadh

While the specific key count for these six signings was not detailed, Sumera Dhanani, Corporate Head Business Development, Sayaji Hotels, noted the aggressive expansion plan, stating that the group is expected to add another 2,000 plus keys in the next six months.
The strategic significance of this move is Sayaji’s deliberate focus on Tier 2 and Tier 3 markets. Dhanani emphasized that the perception of hospitality being centered only around metro cities is changing rapidly. These smaller cities, with improved connectivity and growing local economies, are becoming “vibrant hospitality hubs” that offer culturally rich, authentic experiences—precisely where Sayaji sees “tremendous potential.”
