Burger Singh, India’s rapidly growing homegrown burger chain, has reached a new milestone in its expansion journey with the launch of its latest outlet in Andheri, Mumbai. The opening is a strategic move to capture one of the city’s most vibrant commercial and residential hubs, catering to a diverse mix of young professionals, students, and families.
The new Andheri outlet serves as a focal point for Burger Singh’s western India strategy. Currently, the brand operates 12 outlets across Maharashtra, but it sees a massive runway for growth. Greater Mumbai alone is projected to host up to 70 more outlets in the coming years, while the state of Maharashtra is estimated to have the potential for up to 200 additional locations.
Beyond retail expansion, the brand is significantly impacting the local economy. Burger Singh has announced plans to generate over 1,200 employment opportunities across its existing and upcoming outlets in the city. This move aligns with the brand’s mission to support local job creation while scaling its operational footprint in high-footfall urban consumption hubs.

PV Bhargav, Chief of Staff at Burger Singh, emphasized the brand’s unique positioning and vision for the region: “We aren’t just bringing another burger to Mumbai; we are bringing a flavor revolution that is unapologetically and truly Indian. While the world was busy replicating the West, we doubled down on the Masala, the soul, and the spice that India loves. Western India is our next big bet. We believe the potential in Maharashtra is so massive that the state alone can eventually support more outlets than our entire current national footprint.”
He further added that the expansion offers a platform for entrepreneurship: “This expansion is more than just opening stores; it’s a massive opportunity for budding entrepreneurs in Mumbai to partner with a disruptive, home-grown brand and finally be their own boss in one of the world’s most vibrant food markets.”
By blending traditional Indian taste profiles with the speed of a modern QSR format, Burger Singh continues to solidify its identity as a “flavour-led” alternative to international fast-food giants.
