Vikram Kamats Hospitality Limited has entered into a strategic partnership with Hindustan Petroleum Corporation Limited (HPCL) to integrate authentic South Indian dining into the national fuel station network. This collaboration aims to transform traditional fuel stops into comprehensive “rest and refresh” destinations for Indian travelers.

Under the agreement, Vikram Kamats Hospitality will establish restaurants and takeaway outlets at select HPCL stations. These outlets will offer clean, hygienic, and familiar food options, featuring specialized travel-friendly packaging designed for quick, “grab-and-go” convenience. The initiative also emphasizes the importance of well-maintained washrooms and dependable service for highway commuters, families, and fleet operators.

The rollout will begin with Maharashtra as the pilot state, before expanding in phases across highways and urban hubs nationwide. The partnership was formally signed by Murali Krishna V. Vadrevu (Executive Director, HPCL) and Pankaj Deokar (VP Operations, Vikram Kamats Hospitality).

Vikram Kamat, Founder of Vikram Kamats Hospitality Limited, said: “For decades, Indian travellers have associated fuel stops with necessity alongside comfort. This partnership allows us to change that narrative. Through coming together with HPCL, we are creating spaces where people can pause, eat well, and travel better.”

By leveraging HPCL’s extensive network, the two organizations intend to set a new benchmark for the Indian travel experience, moving toward a sustainable and dependable ecosystem that serves the practical needs of modern commuters.
