SMOOR has announced the launch of the SMOOR Experience Centre in Bengaluru, a first-of-its-kind, consumer-facing chocolate factory experience. Spanning a massive 68,000 square feet, this “living museum of cocoa” marks the brand’s 10th anniversary and integrates high-tech manufacturing with experiential retail and luxury hospitality.
The facility features a consumer-facing factory with guided tours, a specialized chocolate lab for process demonstrations, and a 2,200 sq. ft. café with a 60-cover capacity. Equipped with advanced machinery from Germany, Italy, and India, the center is designed to host up to 350 visitors daily. The brand has also indicated plans to expand the facility to 120,000 sq. ft. in the near future.
Beyond viewing the production line, visitors can engage in hands-on activities, including:
-
DIY Chocolate Bars: Creating personalized chocolate bars.
-
Tasting Sessions: Guided exploration of premium Indian cocoa.
-
Masterclasses: Chef-led workshops on the art and craft of chocolate making.

Vimal Sharma, Founder & CEO of SMOOR, stated: “Our ambition was clear — to create a chocolate destination in India that could stand alongside the world’s most iconic chocolate houses. This is our statement that India is ready for chocolate experiences at a global benchmark.”
The launch sets a new standard for India’s F&B ecosystem, offering a holistic journey from “bean to bar” that caters to chocolate connoisseurs and tourists alike.
