Luxuria by Moustache, the premium wing of the Moustache Group of Hotels, has officially announced the launch of JANGALAT, a new luxury jungle resort in Ranthambore, Rajasthan. Designed as a low-density, private retreat, the property marks the group’s strategic entry into one of India’s most coveted wildlife destinations, catering to the surge in high-end domestic and international tourism.
A standout feature of JANGALAT is a 300-metre-long river running through the heart of the resort, offering guests an exclusive boating experience with rooms positioned to engage directly with the water. The master plan emphasizes “slow living” and a connection to nature, featuring:
-
Experience Zones: Machan-style viewing towers, sunset points, and stargazing areas.
-
Leisure & Wellness: A beach-style bar with water-facing seating, a large central pool with a kids’ area, jacuzzi, sauna, and steam facilities.
-
Mindful Travel: Dedicated decks for yoga and meditation, along with spa therapies designed for a “digital detox.”

Abhishek Khandelwal, Co-Founder and Director, Moustache Group, stated: “The resort has a wellness philosophy and will offer spaces designed for slow living… Cultural evenings, bird-watching points, and stargazing areas are integrated to encourage guests to spend time outdoors.”
The launch of JANGALAT follows the successful opening of Moustache Ranthambore Luxuria, a boutique 5-star homestay known for its “jungle vibe” and personalized service. With JANGALAT, the group aims to fill the gap in premium, experience-led stay options in a region governed by strict environmental development norms.
