Lemon Tree Hotels has announced the signing of a new property in the picturesque hill station of Barog, Himachal Pradesh. This latest addition will serve as the group’s 10th hotel in the state, further consolidating its presence in one of North India’s most popular leisure and mountain tourism corridors.
Slated to open in Financial Year 2027, the hotel will feature 48 well-appointed rooms and suites, catering to both weekend getaway seekers from nearby cities like Chandigarh and New Delhi, as well as long-haul travelers exploring the Shimla circuit. The property will be managed by Carnation Hotels Private Limited, a wholly-owned subsidiary of Lemon Tree Hotels Limited.
The hotel is expected to offer a comprehensive range of amenities, including:
-
Dining: A multi-cuisine restaurant and a stylish bar.
-
Leisure: A swimming pool and a fully equipped fitness center.
-
Events: Versatile meeting and banquet spaces designed for corporate retreats and intimate social gatherings.
Barog, situated on the Kalka-Shimla Highway, is known for its serene pine forests and colonial-era charm. Its proximity to major transport hubs—approximately 60 km from Chandigarh International Airport and well-connected via the UNESCO-listed Kalka-Shimla Toy Train—makes it a strategic location for the Lemon Tree brand.

Vilas Pawar, CEO – Franchise Business, Lemon Tree Hotels, commented: “We are pleased to announce our expansion in Himachal Pradesh with this new signing in Barog. This property will complement our existing portfolio in the state and allow us to offer our signature guest experience in a destination that is rapidly gaining popularity for its tranquil environment and accessibility.”
