Udaipur Marriott Hotel has announced the appointment of Ashish Kumar as its new General Manager. A seasoned hospitality professional with a career spanning nearly three decades, Kumar will be responsible for overseeing all aspects of the hotel’s operations, enhancing guest experiences, and strengthening the property’s brand positioning in the competitive Udaipur market.
Kumar brings a wealth of expertise in hotel administration, revenue optimization, and strategic leadership. His professional journey includes significant tenures with prestigious international and domestic brands such as Hyatt, Taj, and ITC Hotels. Notably, he spent 17 impactful years at Hyatt, where he honed his skills in large-scale operations and asset management.

An alumnus of the International Institute of Hotel Management (IIHM), Kumar holds a Diploma in Hotel and Catering Management (1999) and has pursued further studies in Business Management and Industrial Relations. His appointment comes at a time when Udaipur continues to evolve as a global hub for luxury weddings and leisure travel.
