Gulshan Group and IHCL Announce India’s Tallest Taj Hotel Project in Noida

-KH News Desk (editorial1@imaws.org)

Gulshan Group, a leading real estate developer in North India, has entered into a landmark partnership with the Indian Hotels Company Limited (IHCL) to develop a signature Taj hotel and branded residences in Noida. Representing a total investment of approximately ₹1,000 crore, the project is set to become the tallest Taj hotel in India, soaring 57 storeys high along the Noida-Greater Noida Expressway.

Located in Sector 129, this greenfield development, titled ‘Skyscape’, marks IHCL’s first luxury hotel in Noida and its second branded residential project in India after Chennai. The development is projected to generate over ₹2,000 crore in revenue and is slated for completion within the next five years.

Project Architecture & Features:

  • Vertical Integration: The 57-storey tower will feature the luxury hotel on its lower floors, while the Taj Branded Serviced Apartments will span the 17th to the 56th floors.

  • Ultra-Luxury Residences: The 74 serviced apartments are designed for high-net-worth individuals, each spanning approximately 7,500 sq. ft. and offering two units per floor.

  • Exclusive Penthouse: The top floor will house a massive 21,000 sq. ft. private penthouse, which the Gulshan Group has decided to retain and not offer for sale.

  • World-Class Amenities: The hotel will include 150 guest rooms, an all-day diner, a bar, two specialty restaurants, and an 8,000 sq. ft. ballroom. Residents will have exclusive access to a private club featuring infinity pools, terraced gardens, and sports facilities.

Puneet Chhatwal, Managing Director & CEO, IHCL, remarked: “The rising affluence levels in India are leading to a strong demand for luxury products and branded residences in urban centres. This landmark development will set a new benchmark for luxury in the National Capital Region, and we are delighted to progress this partnership with the Gulshan Group.”

Gulshan Nagpal, Chairman, Gulshan Group, added: “Bringing Taj to Noida is our way of shaping the city’s luxury narrative. We are investing ₹1,000 crore to create not just an iconic building, but a benchmark for generations to come.”
