A remarkable blend of modern culinary techniques and traditional flavors was witnessed at “Chefathon 2026,” held at BN Ground in the city. Organized under the aegis of the Royal Rajasthan Chef Society (RRCS), the grand event was successfully conducted with the support of PHDCCI (Rajasthan Chapter) and Evention. The event provided a world-class platform for chefs from Udaipur and nearby regions.
Organization and Leadership
The event was successfully led by RRCS President Chef Vimal Dhar. Key contributions were made by Chef Love Mathur, Chef Devendra Kumar, Dr. Chef Sangeeta Dhar, and culinarian Rashmi Kishore. Business Connect India (BCI) and United Hoteliers also played an important supporting role.
Main Attraction: Live Cooking Demo
The highlight of the event was the live cooking demonstration by Chef Pushpendra Bala and Chef Prem Singh. They presented a modern twist on the traditional Rajasthani dish “Sangri ki Tikki,” which was highly appreciated by the audience and guests.

During the closing ceremony, RRCS President Chef Vimal Dhar and the jury honored the winners with trophies and certificates. Chef Dhar stated that the main objective of the event is to give global recognition to Rajasthan’s rich culinary heritage and to encourage emerging chefs. The event concluded with a vote of thanks to all collaborators and participants.
