Hyatt Centric MG Road Bangalore has announced the appointment of Michael Bikash Gomes as its new Human Resources Manager. Gomes brings over nine years of experience in the hospitality industry, and his role will be central to strengthening the hotel’s people-focused culture and enhancing the overall employee experience.

Key Responsibilities and Professional Expertise

In his new role, Gomes will be responsible for overseeing the full HR lifecycle at the hotel. His extensive duties include:

  • Recruitment and Onboarding
  • Performance Management
  • Training and Development
  • Employee Relations
  • Compliance with labor laws

Most recently, Gomes served at Hyatt Place Hampi, where he successfully managed the HR functions and was instrumental in implementing the brand’s core talent strategies, known as the Hyatt People Philosophy. His proven expertise in HR policy development, employee engagement initiatives, and ensuring legal compliance positions him as a crucial leader for the Bangalore property.

Strategic Importance and Leadership Vision

Gomes’ appointment is strategically important for Hyatt Centric MG Road Bangalore as the hotel continues to focus on attracting, developing, and retaining top talent. On rejoining the team (suggesting a previous association with the “Hyatt Centric MG Road family”), Gomes expressed his enthusiasm, stating he is “thrilled to be back on such a vibrant team” and is looking forward to “developing, learning, and making memories with the Centric Circuit team.” His return highlights the hotel’s commitment to fostering a positive and developmental work environment.
