IHG Hotels & Resorts has further expanded its midscale conversion brand, Garner, in India through a franchise agreement with United Hospitality Management (UHM). The new property, Garner Bhiwadi, is scheduled to open in 2027 and marks the fourth signing for the brand in the country.
Located in the emerging industrial and business hub of Bhiwadi, the hotel is being developed by Modest Structures Private Limited and will be managed by UHM India. The 45-key property is designed to cater to both short-term business travelers and extended-stay guests, offering high-quality hospitality at an accessible price point.
This signing follows UHM’s recent strategic moves in the Indian market, including the acquisition of the boutique brand Rosastays. The partnership leverages UHM’s operational expertise alongside IHG’s global distribution systems to unlock value in key growth markets.

Deepika Arora, Managing Director, United Hospitality Management – India, stated: “The addition of Garner Bhiwadi strengthens our presence in emerging industrial and business corridors… our focus in India is on building a diversified and future-ready hospitality portfolio through strategic partnerships and disciplined management.”

Sudeep Jain, Managing Director, South West Asia, IHG Hotels & Resorts, previously noted that the Garner brand is designed for owners seeking a flexible, high-quality midscale conversion option that delivers strong returns and consistent guest experiences.
