JW Marriott Chandigarh has announced the appointment of Vishal Mehra as its new General Manager. He has successfully opened six hotels and converted two properties across multiple countries for Marriott and other leading hospitality brands. Notably, Mehra is a proud recipient of the Gallup Global Manager of the Year Award – Great Workplace Award, underscoring his commitment to team empowerment and cultivating high-performance cultures.
Previous Role and Vision for Chandigarh
Prior to joining JW Marriott Chandigarh, Mehra served as the General Manager for the Kathmandu Marriott Hotel and Fairfield by Marriott Kathmandu, where he successfully repositioned both properties as regional benchmarks in service excellence and brand performance. He has also supported strategic transitions for Marriott properties in Indore, Hyderabad, and Rishikesh.
