KOKO, the critically acclaimed Asian gastropub by Pebbles Hospitality, has officially announced its expansion into North Mumbai with a new outlet at Oberoi Garden City, Goregaon. Founded by Ryan and Keenan Tham, the brand’s second Mumbai outpost (following its flagship in Kamala Mills) aims to cater to the affluent residential and corporate catchment of the Goregaon-Malad belt.
The new Goregaon venue stays true to KOKO’s philosophy of “progressive Asian dining,” blending traditional Cantonese and Japanese techniques with modern global influences. The expansive space is designed to transition from a sophisticated lunch destination to a high-energy evening lounge, complete with a dedicated sushi bar and a high-octane mixology program.
Key Highlights of KOKO Goregaon:
-
Culinary Excellence: The menu features KOKO’s signature staples, including the Black Truffle Dumplings, Hamachi Carpaccio, and an array of artisanal dim sum and small plates crafted by a team of international chefs.
-
The Bar Program: Known for its innovative “KOKO-tails,” the bar at the Goregaon outlet will feature sustainable ingredients and Asian-inspired botanicals, overseen by the group’s head mixologists.
-
Design & Ambiance: The interiors reflect a contemporary Oriental aesthetic, balancing luxury with comfort, and featuring private dining rooms designed for intimate gatherings and corporate meetings.

Keenan Tham, Co-Founder, Pebbles Hospitality, commented: “Goregaon has evolved into a vibrant luxury hub, and we saw a significant demand from our patrons in North Mumbai who frequently travelled to Kamala Mills. With KOKO at Oberoi Garden City, we are bringing the same elevated experience closer to their doorstep.”
The opening reinforces KOKO’s position as a leader in Mumbai’s premium dining sector, following the brand’s successful expansion into cities like Bengaluru.
