The year 2025 marks a monumental milestone for the Bangalore Hotels Association (BHA) as it celebrates 90 years of dedicated service and leadership in the hospitality industry of Bengaluru. Since its establishment in 1936, BHA has been the definitive voice for thousands of hotels, restaurateurs, and bakers. Its nine-decade journey, strengthened by affiliations with KSHA, FHRAI, SIHRA and FKCCI stands as a testament to the power of collaboration in driving industry growth and excellence.
To help its members adopt and integrate modern technologies, BHA organized an exclusive B2B Conclave on 28th October 2025 at FKCCI. The event brought together hoteliers, suppliers, and industry professionals to explore new opportunities, technological innovations, and partnerships to propel the hospitality sector forward.
The event featured an engaging panel discussion with industry experts, aimed at sharing insights and practical strategies to enhance day-to-day business operations.
As part of the conclave, 35 stalls were arranged to showcase products, services, and innovations relevant to the hospitality industry.
The panel discussion was moderated by Mr. P.K. Mohan Kumar, Hospitality Veteran and Founder & CEO of Turnstone Hospitality, who shared his valuable expertise on the food industry.

∙Ms. Chempavai Jagadeshan, Food Safety & Hygiene Specialist with over 20 years of experience at the Taj Group of Hotels.
∙Dr. Mamatha Mishra, Ph.D. in Food Safety, FoSTaC Trainer, and National Level Resource Person (NLRP) under FSSAI.
∙Mr. Rajesh Kumar C.A., Chartered Accountant and former member of the Central Taxes Committee of FKCCI, known for his expertise in GST.
∙Mr. Ram K. Navaratna, Specialist in Labour Law and Administration.
∙Mr. K. Ramamurthy, Committee Member and Chairman of B2B Conclave and also the owner of Konark Hotel.
∙Mr Shakir Haq, Vice President and owner of Empire Group
∙Mr. M. Krishnan, Committee Member and Owner of Iyer Idly.
The panel discussion covered topics such as Regulatory Reforms and Challenges and Best Practices in Hospitality Kitchens. The experts also addressed various queries from the audience, making the session highly interactive and insightful.
The event witnessed the participation of around 500 members, making it a grand success. It was a remarkably productive and memorable event, reflecting BHA’s continued commitment to the growth and betterment of Bengaluru’s hospitality community.
