In collaboration with Chalet Hotels, Indian Hotels Company Limited (IHCL) announces the signing of a 400-key Taj branded hotel in proximity to Aero City, at Indira Gandhi International Airport Terminal 3 in New Delhi. As per the reports from the Managing director and chief executive officer of IHCL,Puneet Chhatwal, the hotel will be located adjacent to the terminal 3, which unifies both domestic and international flights.“The world-class Taj branded hotel at one of the busiest airports in Asia will be a significant addition to our portfolio in the National Capital Region (NCR). With this addition the Taj brand is now present in the country’s largest airports – Delhi, Mumbai and Bengaluru” states Puneet Chhatwal.
The hotel is inclusive of all the magnificent offerings that the brand Taj is eminent for. An all-day eatery, a speciality restaurant, a lounging lobby, bar are the few luxurious facilities that would be made available. The recreational amenities will be inclusive of swimming pool, spa and gym. Inaddition, the hotel will be equipped with flexible meeting areas and banqueting spaces, which is approximately totalled to 6,000 square feet.
“It was a well thought out decision to choose the ‘Taj’ brand for this marque asset. We look forward to a grand opening of the Taj at the New Delhi Airport in a couple of years, “states Sanjay Sethi, the managing director and CEO at Chalet hotels.
