As General Manager, Chhabra will be responsible for overseeing the hotel’s overall operations and strategic direction. Her primary focus will be on delivering exceptional guest experiences, driving sustainable growth, and fostering a culture of creativity and excellence within her teams, aligning with Sofitel’s distinctive blend of French sophistication and Indian hospitality, known as the French Art de Vivre.
Professional Background and Recognition
Chhabra brings over two decades of experience in the luxury and business hospitality sectors, with a deep understanding of operations, guest experience, and brand excellence.
- Most Recent Role: She most recently served as the General Manager at JW Marriott Goa, where she successfully positioned the property as a leading luxury destination, earning over 27 industry accolades, including HICSA Hotel of the Year 2024.
- Previous Roles: Her extensive background includes leadership positions as General Manager at Courtyard by Marriott Bengaluru Hebbal, where she was recognized for leading her team through the pandemic with agility, and earlier roles at JW Marriott Mumbai Sahar, The Trident Bandra Kurla, and The Oberoi New Delhi.
Chhabra herself is an award-winning leader, having received several prestigious accolades such as Goa’s Best General Manager 2024 (CMO Asia) and the Diamond General Manager of the Year (Global, Courtyard Brand) for 2021–22.
