Lemon Tree Hotels Limited has announced the signing of a new License Agreement for a Lemon Tree Resort in Lonavala, Maharashtra. Expected to open as a boutique leisure offering, the 50-room resort marks a strategic expansion for the group in one of Western India’s most high-demand travel destinations, famous for its scenic Sahyadri landscapes and proximity to major urban centers.
The property will be managed by Carnation Hotels Private Limited, a wholly-owned subsidiary of Lemon Tree Hotels. The signing aligns with the company’s broader goal of scaling its presence in Maharashtra, where it currently holds a robust portfolio of operational and pipeline properties across various segments.

Boutique Inventory: The resort will feature 50 well-appointed rooms designed to cater to weekend travelers, families, and corporate groups.

Comprehensive Amenities: Guest facilities include a multi-cuisine restaurant, a fitness center, a swimming pool, and a spa for relaxation.

MICE & Events: To tap into Lonavala’s lucrative wedding and offsite market, the resort will offer a dedicated banquet hall and meeting room.

Connectivity: The location is approximately 69 km from the Navi Mumbai International Airport (approx. 1 hour 15 minutes) and just 5.8 km from Lonavala Railway Station, ensuring easy access for travelers from Mumbai and Pune.
