Kona Kona, the nostalgia-inspired bar founded by celebrated actor Mona Singh, has officially launched its second outpost in Marol, Andheri East. Spanning 2,000 square feet and seating nearly 100 guests, the new location replicates the soul of its original venue—offering a warm, intentionally unpolished, and relaxed atmosphere designed for long, effortless visits.
The menu at the Andheri East outpost focuses on familiar, comforting flavors, with new additions tailored for weekday lunches. The bar program remains consistent with the brand’s philosophy, featuring flavour-first, unfussy cocktails built for second rounds. A quirky highlight for regulars is the presence of the brand’s “Duck Man” character, ensuring the new space feels like a natural extension of the Kona Kona routine.

Reflecting on the brand’s expansion, Founder Mona Singh stated: “When we opened Kona Kona, the idea was never to build a ‘destination’ bar; it was to create a place people could return to without thinking twice. Andheri East felt like the perfect neighbourhood for that next chapter. We’ve found our Kona here—it’s the same food, the same drinks, the same feeling, just living in a different everyday.”
Designed as a neighborhood default rather than a trendy hotspot, Kona Kona aims to blend seamlessly into the daily lives of those who live and work in one of Mumbai’s busiest commercial districts.
