Pullman Hotels & Resorts has announced the strategic appointment of two seasoned sales leaders to the team at Pullman Chennai, a move designed to significantly reinforce its presence in South India and strengthen its specialized offerings in the corporate and MICE (Meetings, Incentives, Conferences, and Exhibitions) segments. The new appointments reflect the hotel’s commitment to growth and innovation in the highly competitive hospitality market.
The first key appointment is Sabarinath R, who joins as the Director of Sales and Marketing. Sabarinath brings with him an extensive career spanning over 20 years in luxury hospitality sales and marketing. His prior roles include serving as Vice President – Business Development South at Foodlink F&B Holdings and as Director of Sales & Marketing at The Leela Palace Chennai. Throughout his career, Sabarinath has successfully led various strategic initiatives, including pre-opening teams, MICE and catering operations, and strategic pricing. His notable achievements include attaining the highest RGI Index of 139 and the ADR #1 position in February 2024 at The Leela Palace Chennai, consistently delivering year-on-year growth in MICE and catering revenue, and earning prestigious recognition such as the Chief Closing Officer of the Year (2022) and HOD of the Year (2014–15) awards.
The second addition to the leadership team is Anish C. Mohan, who takes on the role of Director of Sales at Pullman Chennai. Anish also brings extensive experience in hospitality sales and business development, having held senior roles at notable establishments including TAJ Coromandel Chennai, The Leela Palaces & Resorts, and aloft Chennai. His expertise is centered on strategic planning, revenue growth, and client relationship management. Anish has a proven track record of successfully leading teams across the corporate, MICE, and leisure segments, effectively enhancing brand visibility and delivering measurable business results in the competitive South Indian market.
