Sterling Holiday Resorts has announced the opening of Sterling Saryu Ayodhya, marking the company’s second property in one of India’s most significant spiritual centers. The launch is a key part of Sterling’s broader strategy to build high-intent travel circuits across India’s heritage and pilgrimage destinations, offering reliable standards and localized experiences.
Named after the sacred River Saryu, the resort features a variety of room types, including Cocoon Rooms for restorative sleep and Junior Suites for extended stays. The property’s design and services are tailored to the needs of pilgrims, focusing on comfort and calm after long days of temple circuits.
The resort’s dining venue, The Saryu Café, offers a menu of wholesome vegetarian flavors. Additionally, the property includes a well-appointed banquet hall, making it suitable for large spiritual groups, family gatherings, and corporate meetings.

Vikram Lalvani, Managing Director & CEO, Sterling Holiday Resorts, commented: “Ayodhya is a defining chapter in India’s pilgrimage landscape. With Sterling Saryu Ayodhya, we are deepening destination depth to serve travellers with comfort, calm and reliability, delivered with warmth. Hospitality is not just about a stay—it’s about how you make people feel, especially in a destination where the journey is as emotional as it is spiritual.”
Rishi Uppal, Director, Kalyan KK Hotels India Pvt Ltd, added: “Ayodhya is among India’s most important spiritual destinations… Sterling’s leadership in heritage and pilgrimage destinations made them the right partner for this vision.”
