Tamil Milk, a prominent player in the state’s dairy sector, has announced a significant expansion of its retail and supply chain network. This week, the company inaugurated two revamped distribution centers in Mayiladuthurai and Neyveli, marking a strategic step toward enhancing the accessibility of fresh dairy products across the region.
Strategic Launch in Mayiladuthurai
On Tuesday, March 3, 2026, the company opened its new facility in the Sambanthakulam area of Mayiladuthurai. The center was officially inaugurated by Mr. K. Thiyagarajan, Executive Director of Tamil Milk.
The ceremony saw participation from several local leaders, highlighting the brand’s community integration:

Ceremonial Lighting: Conducted by Mr. Moovalur M. Moorthy (DMK West Union Secretary), Mr. Mohammad Riaz (President, Mayiladuthurai Chamber of Commerce), and Senior Congress Leader Lion Dr. K. Selvam.

First Sale: Initiated by MJF Ln. Thamizhselvan, District President of the Federation of Tamil Nadu Traders’ Associations.

Local Leadership: The event was hosted by the regional distributor, Mr. D.S. Rajasekar.
Expanding to Neyveli (Cuddalore District)
Following the success in Mayiladuthurai, a second center was launched on Thursday, March 5, 2026, at Gandhi Gramam, Vadakkuthu.

Key Guests: S. Sathya Subramanian led the ceremonial lamp lighting, and G. Henry Leon Raj conducted the inaugural sale.

During the launches, Executive Director Mr. K. Thiyagarajan outlined the company’s aggressive growth roadmap. Currently operating across 11 districts with a network of over 100 distributors, Tamil Milk is aiming for a presence in every corner of Tamil Nadu and Puducherry. “Our goal is to establish direct sales centers in every part of the state,” stated Mr. Thiyagarajan. He emphasized that these hubs are not just retail points but engines for socio-economic growth, encouraging local youth to partner with the brand to achieve financial independence and improve the standards of the dairy trade.
