The company has unveiled plans to inaugurate more than 100 new outlets within the next 18 months, poised to elevate its brand presence to over 140 outlets nationwide.
Currently, 99 Pancakes enjoys a widespread presence across more than 10 cities, with a noteworthy 22 of its outlets operating under the Company Owned Company Operated (COCO) model. In a strategic move to diversify its reach, the brand is set to invest a substantial sum of approximately Rs. 20 crores as it steps into new markets, including the bustling metropolises of Delhi, Bengaluru, Ahmedabad, Mumbai, Pune, Hyderabad, Chennai, Nagpur, Nashik, and more.
In pursuit of a robust expansion strategy tailored to India’s tier II cities, 99 Pancakes is planning to establish 10-12 outlets in each of these burgeoning urban centers in the forthcoming period. To fuel this ambitious expansion, the company is concurrently devising plans to secure the necessary funding.
Vikesh Shah, Founder of 99 Pancakes, shared his perspective on the brand’s growth trajectory, stating, “Since the inception of 99 Pancakes, the company has operated on Company Owned Company Operated (COCO) and franchise models, which have worked well for us. Looking at the prospects of growth in other regions of India, we wish to enter the untouched markets in collaboration with the master franchisees and retail franchisees. We will also invest in outlets that will be company owned and company operated.”
At present, 99 Pancakes operates in a diverse array of tier I and tier II cities, including Mumbai, Kolhapur, Varanasi, Surat, Prayagraj, Pune, Indore, Rewa, Hyderabad, Nashik, and Raipur. Notably, the QSR chain has managed to expand its footprint to over 10 cities, with an impressive portfolio of more than 40 outlets, all achieved within just six years.
99 Pancakes’ ambitious expansion plans come as a testament to the brand’s dedication to offering its mouthwatering pancake creations to a broader audience. With an agile combination of the COCO and franchise models, the company aims to efficiently navigate the diverse Indian market landscape, capturing the hearts and taste buds of customers in established urban hubs and emerging tier II cities alike. As it embarks on this exciting journey, 99 Pancakes appears poised for remarkable growth and an even sweeter future in the Indian QSR sector.
