IHCL’s leading luxury brand, Taj Hotels, has appointed Saurabh Tiwari as its new Head of Middle East Operations and General Manager, joining the company from November. In his new role, Saurabh will be responsible for three luxury five-star hotels in the region (Taj Dubai, Taj Exotica Resort and Spa and Taj JLT).
As Taj Hotels expands into the Middle East, Tiwari will oversee the development of a team of skilled and innovative corporate and commercial agents to promote its offerings and services in the region and provide added value to guests, partners, and owners.
Apart from extensive international work experience in Spain and the UK, Saurabh has consistently backed the Taj Dubai team and elevated its hotel to new levels. Saurabh represents and believes deeply in the company’s core values .With his previous experience managing major hotels at Taj Dubai and other prominent global chains, Saurabh has demonstrated exceptional leadership abilities alongside a strategic vision and zeal for providing exceptional guest experiences.
As the General Manager of Taj Dubai, he has recently made significant progress and gained widespread recognition for his dedication to providing exceptional hospitality.
Saurabh’s journey began at Taj Hotels in 2021 where he received innovative ideas, trendsetting concepts and led the transformation of the hotel. He is passionate about creating new concepts and streamlining costs to maximize margins, making the hotel highly efficient.
As the Head of Operations and General Manager, Middle East, Saurabh manages the day-to–day operations of various properties in the region and ensures that Taj Hotels remain a symbol of luxury and embody Tajness. His strategic vision, passion for service and ability to nurture strong teams will surely contribute to IHCL’s success and growth in the region.
