The Leela Palace Udaipur has officially appointed Prasoon Pandey as its new General Manager. This announcement marks Pandey’s promotion from his previous role as Hotel Manager, reinforcing The Leela’s commitment to nurturing leadership talent from within.
With over two decades of experience in the luxury hospitality sector, Pandey brings deep operational expertise and a strong service-oriented leadership approach. He joined The Leela Palace Udaipur in 2023 and has since played a key role in enhancing the property’s sustainability practices, workplace culture, and guest satisfaction scores.
An alumnus of the Oberoi Centre of Learning and Development (OCLD), where he earned a Gold Medal, Pandey also holds qualifications from IHM Bhubaneswar and has completed executive training through Harvard Management Mentor.
Prior to his tenure at The Leela, Pandey held senior leadership roles at boutique luxury hotels and was involved in multiple resort launches across both city and leisure destinations.
In his new role, Pandey will spearhead the hotel’s next phase of growth, with a focus on expanding global reach, strengthening community ties, and continuing to deliver personalized guest experiences in line with The Leela’s ‘Atithi Devo Bhava’ philosophy.
