Mumbai, India — The Hospitality Purchasing Managers’ Forum (HPMF) has announced the appointment of Basil Christopher Massey as the Convenor for its landmark 15th Anniversary Convention and Awards, scheduled to take place in Amritsar, Punjab, from November 6 to 9.
A respected veteran in the hospitality sector, Mr Massey brings with him over 40 years of rich experience in procurement and supply chain management. Having led sourcing operations for marquee brands such as The Leela Palaces, Hotels & Resorts and Duet India Hotels, he has been a longstanding ally of HPMF’s mission and growth.
The HPMF Convention and Awards has grown into the most prominent gathering of hospitality procurement professionals in the country — and beyond. The annual event typically draws over 500 delegates, including purchase heads, general managers, chefs, supply chain experts and industry partners from across the globe. Renowned for its blend of knowledge sharing, cross-sector collaboration and peer recognition, this year’s edition will also mark a significant milestone for the forum.
Speaking on the appointment, Dr Nitin Shankar Nagrale, Founder and General Secretary of HPMF, remarked, “We are thrilled to have Mr Basil Massey as the Convenor for this milestone event.
