Veda Hospitality Services Private Limited is a dynamic startup founded by specialists who blend legacy-driven methodologies with modern innovation in catering and hospitality services. From commercial, industrial, and institutional catering to geriatric nutrition, facility management, contract food services, and patient meal subscriptions, we bring thoughtful care and operational excellence to every aspect of our work.

 

Position of Hiring:

  1. CHEF – In charge (2 Vacancies)
  2. Sous chef – (7 vacancies)

Hiring Location: Chennai

(Salary will not be a constraint for the right candidate)

Key Responsibilities:

  • Supervising Kitchen Staff: Leading and managing the kitchen team, including line cooks, prep cooks, and dishwashers.
  • Food Preparation and Cooking: Overseeing all food preparation, ensuring consistent quality and presentation according to recipes and standards.
  • Inventory Management: Managing food and supply ordering, receiving, storage, and minimizing waste.
  • Ensuring Food Safety and Sanitation: Implementing and enforcing food safety and sanitation guidelines and regulations.
  • Cost Control: Monitoring kitchen expenses, managing food costs, and minimizing waste.
  • Training and Mentoring: Training new kitchen staff and providing ongoing guidance and support.
  • Maintaining Cleanliness and Organization: Ensuring a clean and organized kitchen environment.
  • Adapting to a Fast-Paced Environment: Handling the demands of a busy kitchen.

 

 

Essential Skills and Qualifications:

  • Proven experience as a Kitchen Manager or similar role.
  • Problem solving skills.
  • Strong leadership and team management skills.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • In-depth knowledge of food safety and sanitation regulations.
  • Strong organizational and multitasking abilities.
  • Problem-solving and decision-making skills.
  • Culinary expertise and knowledge of various cooking techniques.
  • Ability to work under pressure and in a fast-paced environment.
