At an intimate gathering at Soho House Mumbai, Ember, India’s first 100% non-toxic non-stick cookware brand, announced a defining new chapter in its journey with celebrated chef and entrepreneur Saransh Goila joining as an investor and partner.
The evening brought together voices from the world of food, design, and lifestyle to celebrate a shared vision: reimagining the Indian kitchens. Against the backdrop of conversations, live plating, and immersive experiences, Ember and Saransh unveiled their partnership that blends culinary insight with product innovation.
Best known for his deep exploration of Indian cooking culture, Saransh brings to Ember not just his culinary mastery but also an insider’s understanding of Indian kitchens at scale. From childhood memories in his family kitchen to becoming one of India’s most loved chefs, his journey has always been rooted in the belief that food is about people, health, and the way we live.
At Ember, Saransh will spearhead Ember’s new innovation lab to develop and test solutions for the modern Indian kitchen.
“Clean cookware is personal to me. Managing my mother’s health through an autoimmune condition showed me how deeply the tools we use in our kitchens affect our well-being,” said Saransh Goila. “India’s kitchens deserve better, but the gap is clear. The only real way to solve it is to design the kitchen of the future, a huge opportunity to transform how the country cooks. Ember combines clean living, great design and scalable innovation, and together we’re building kitchens that are smarter, cleaner and better.”
The Soho House evening marked the start of this journey, with a live cook-off by Saransh, an exclusive showcase of Ember’s design-led cookware, and conversations that placed wellness, food, culture, and innovation at the centre of the Indian kitchen.
