FES Cafe, a 100% eggless, dessert-led café chain known for its New York-inspired cookies and community formats, has successfully raised approximately $1 million in a Pre-Series A funding round. The investment was led by 12 Flags, a global consumer fund founded by Rakesh Kapoor (former Global CEO of Reckitt Benckiser). Existing investor Wolfpack Labs (a venture studio founded by Aakash Anand and Prerna Gupta) also doubled down on its investment in this round.
Future Plans and Strategic Significance
The capital infusion will be used to fuel FES Cafe’s strategic expansion across Delhi NCR. Specifically, the funds will strengthen the brand’s delivery and operations capabilities through its central production kitchen and aid in attracting top talent necessary for its next phase of growth.
The strategic significance of this investment lies in validating FES Cafe’s unique market position. The brand has cultivated a loyal following among Gen Z and millennials by positioning itself as a modern “third space” and a cult-favorite dessert destination that celebrates indulgence and connection. Investors believe the concept of indulgent combinations like cookies and ice cream will resonate nationwide.

Vidur Mayor, founder & CEO, FES Cafe, stated, “FES Cafe started with a simple belief: desserts deserve to be celebrated. With 12 Flags’ and Wolfpack’s support, we’re ready to take that vision to more neighbourhoods, creating dessert-first cafes that double as community spaces. This next phase is about scaling with intention, expanding footprints while retaining the craft, culture, and consistency that make FES special.”

Rajat Agarwal, Partner and MD at 12 Flags, expressed confidence in the company’s execution: “We’re excited to partner with FES, a distinctive neighbourhood dessert cafe that brings together indulgent combinations like cookies and ice cream, a concept we believe will resonate deeply with people across all age groups eventually. With a sharp focus on consistency, quality, and execution, we’re confident this proposition will scale successfully across the country.”
FES Cafe has also onboarded Amit Nagpal (ex-CFO of Blue Tokai Coffee Roasters) as a Strategic and Financial Advisor to assist with cafe expansion and initiatives.
