New Delhi: Renowned Delhi-based nutritionist and expert in functional medicine, Dr Shilpa Arora, has officially launched her new wellness hub — the Panchsheel Clinic. The inauguration event, held in collaboration with the World Macadamia Organization (WMO) and its ‘Love Macadamia’ campaign, spotlighted a central theme: the profound healing potential of food, with a special emphasis on the nutritional power of macadamia nuts.
Known for her integrative approach to reversing chronic diseases through diet and lifestyle, Dr Arora’s philosophy aligns seamlessly with WMO’s global mission to champion clean, functional nutrition. The event was a testament to this shared vision, bringing together wellness advocates, media, and other health-conscious guests.
Macadamias: More Than a Snack, a Tool for Healing
Speaking on the clinic’s guiding philosophy, Dr Arora emphasised that the new Panchsheel Clinic is founded on the belief that “food is the most powerful form of medicine.” She highlighted macadamia nuts as a prime example of this principle. “They are not just a snack, but a tool for healing and prevention,” she stated, adding, “Rich in good fats, antioxidants and essential nutrients, they support heart, brain and metabolic health. Even a small daily portion can have a meaningful impact on long-term wellness.”
Dr Arora’s message is clear: her clinic aims to inspire people to make conscious choices, using food as a powerful ally on their journey to better health. This perspective was echoed by Mansi Ahuja of Ampro Marketing, who represents WMO in India. She noted that macadamia nuts are an excellent addition to clean diets and that the ‘Love Macadamia’ campaign aims to make their health benefits more accessible to Indian consumers.
A Taste of Conscious Living
To bring these ideas to life, the event featured a meticulously curated hi-tea menu crafted entirely from clean, nutrient-rich ingredients. Each dish demonstrated how macadamia nuts could be integrated into daily meals, from savouries to sweets, without relying on refined flours or sugars. This menu served as a living embodiment of the clinic’s commitment to simple, wholesome nourishment.
The launch celebration also saw notable guests, including filmmaker Bishal Paul, fashion designer Raina Suri, and NDTV host Ambika, who joined Dr Arora in a discussion on nutrition and holistic well-being, particularly in the context of the upcoming festive season.
A unique, interactive macadamia nut in-shell opening activity also encouraged guests to slow down and connect more deeply with their food — a symbolic act of mindful consumption that complements both the clinic’s philosophy and the broader discussion on nutrition.
This launch marks the beginning of a collaborative effort between Panchsheel Clinic and the Love Macadamia initiative, setting the stage to promote clean nutrition and holistic wellness throughout modern Indian lifestyles.
