After a successful debut at Acropolis Mall in Kolkata, Mad Over Donuts (MOD) is deepening its roots in Eastern India with the launch of its second outlet in Salt Lake. This move marks a significant milestone in MOD’s expansion plans, with the brand eyeing 12 to 15 new outlets across the region over the next 12 to 15 months. Many of these will feature a standalone store format, designed to bring MOD’s signature donut experience closer to local neighborhoods.

Known for its handcrafted, 100% vegetarian donuts, Mad Over Donuts has become a household name among sweet treat lovers in India. Its outlets are designed as vibrant and cozy hangouts — ideal for casual catch-ups, study sessions, or simply indulging in everyday joys.

With a clear focus on growing beyond the metro cities, MOD is strategically entering high-potential markets across the country. Its recent foray into Kolkata has already created a buzz, with enthusiastic customers flocking to savor favorites like Double Trouble and Chocolate Therapy, along with a growing craze for MOD’s bubble teas.

“We are truly encouraged by the warm response from Kolkata. There is immense potential in Eastern India, and we’re excited to bring more immersive brand experiences to this region. Our goal is to open 7–8 new stores over the next two years,” shared Tarak Bhattacharya, Executive Director and CEO of Mad Over Donuts. “The Salt Lake launch is a meaningful step in that direction — and just the beginning of what’s to come.”

The new Salt Lake store captures the essence of the MOD brand with its vibrant orange interiors, colorful donut displays, and inviting nooks. As the brand accelerates its presence in Eastern India, more locations are already in the pipeline — bringing MOD’s signature donuts, drinks, and feel-good vibe to even more fans across the region.
