Grand Hyatt Mumbai has announced the appointment of Prasad Prabhu as its new Learning and Development Manager. Prabhu brings over 18 years of diverse experience from across leading global hospitality brands, with a proven track record in talent development, service culture enhancement, and colleague engagement.
Key Responsibilities and Professional Background
In his critical new role, Prabhu will be responsible for driving the hotel’s comprehensive learning and development strategy.
His key focus areas include:
- Strengthening leadership development within the organization.
- Embedding Hyatt’s values through a culture of continuous learning.
- Enhancing overall colleague engagement.
- Aligning training initiatives with the hotel’s operational and business goals.
Prabhu’s extensive background features tenures at several prestigious luxury brands, including The Indian Hotels Company Limited (Taj Hotels), InterContinental Hotels Group (IHG), The Leela Kempinski, and The Zuri Hospitality Group. Prior to this appointment, he served as the Learning Manager at Grand Hyatt Goa, where he also contributed significantly as an ASPAC Master Trainer for Hyatt Hotels Corporation, designing and facilitating leadership workshops across the Asia Pacific region.

Prabhu is an alumnus of the Welingkar Institute of Management, Mumbai, and both the Goa and Mumbai Institutes of Hotel Management.
